Happy May Everyone! We’re on the cusp of longer sun filled days, the scents of sprinklers and freshly cut grass, and months of alfresco dining. Inspired by the bright and colorful splash of floral that crescendos this month we’ve curated three favorite floral patterns in our 50 Patterns | 50 Years Scott Group Studio collection. Meet Allora, Flor, and Ava.
From delicate pastels to vibrant, saturated colors, flowers bring any space to life. We embrace their softness and respect the statement that they bring. From traditional to modern, our numerous floral patterns offer a virtual garden of opportunity.
Allora was originally created for the Scott Group Custom Carpets Verdant collection. The design is constructed by hand-tufting cut and loop in a painterly, organic floral pattern that creates an effect of petals being scattered or lightly blowing across the floor. It’s striking in white as well – visualized in the right rendering above.
Flor and Ava are both hand-tufted Hokanson designs. Flor was designed with an abstract approach, graphically color blocking the large scale flowers across the expanse of the carpet. Ava is the most holistic floral of the group with the leaves, petals, and eye of the flower all distinctly represented. Ava is an oversized floral that could easily be adapted to a border, aisle, or organic design. The sky is the limit when it comes to Ava’s customization possibilities.
