Rendering of the Month: Northern Jade
Who else is a fan of layered anything?! This concept had me really excited this month, and fueled the design of all three of these renderings. I’ve always been intrigued by the multidimensional aesthetic of working layers just the right way—from clothing, to jewelery, to rugs, to patterns. And would you look at that, these turned out to be really beautiful! What makes these even more special is that all of the patterns that are merged with W34007-Northern Jade, are our original designs brought together in perfect harmony. So take a look below! I hope it inspires you to go out of your comfort zone, and experiment in combining two unexpected elements to create something even more unique.
SK13270
In this variation of Northern Jade, I chose to scale up the original design, and used our pattern Ombre Chevron to pose as a pretty neutral field.
SK13276
This design has an interesting, subtle distress, borrowing the textural map from our pattern Brandello II.
SK13277
Lastly, I created a soft grey and cream rug, pairing Northern Jade with the design lines used in our pattern Rayures as an overtuft.
