Marketing Specialist

As a direct report to the Brand Manager this position will primarily concentrate on delivering marketing assistance to our sales team and nationwide showrooms while overseeing and coordinating all showroom and corporate events. Collaboration with our creative and product development teams will be essential to ensure that the narrative of Scott Group and its products shines through in our showrooms and events. This pivotal role lies at the center of our marketing efforts.
This role requires a strong work ethic and good time management and project management skills in accordance with the core values of Scott Group Studio.

Duties

Support Regional Showrooms and sales teams to develop targeted events that increase brand awareness, engage attendees and potential prospects to Scott Group Studio showrooms and brand. Including sourcing and working with local vendors to manage and execute all aspects of each event.

  • Develop a variety of customer engagements with our showroom sales team.  Such engagements would include presentations that qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU) for the design community, brand campaign events, collection launches, designer showhouses and dinners with design firms.
  • Coordinate the design and development of event communications, invitations and announcements with Graphic Designer and Media outlets as required.
  • Research top Interior Designers and develop customer profiles to assist with targeted marketing and design efforts to gain sales traction. Create and manage an accessible repository of current information.
  • Act as lead liaison for regional, national, and international aviation and architectural and design tradeshows responsibilities include:
    • Submit appropriate paperwork, communicate coordination to the on-site teams.
    • Oversee show coordination with internal teams to ensure all components including products and signage, media submits are on schedule.
    • Coordinate shipping to ensure all booth crates and all other details are scheduled on time.
  • Assist Showroom Managers with maintaining showroom brand standards, purchasing and other elements of customer experience for the showrooms, travel to showroom locations for events as needed (LA, NY, Chicago, Dallas)
  • Coordinate all aspects of customer visits to the Mill including travel, catering and scheduling tours with internal teams.

 

Abilities + Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or communications with a minimum of three years of relevant marketing experience in support of sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently with strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with graphic design programs such as Illustrator or Photoshop is advantageous.
  • Capable of collaborative and cross-functional work across various departments and external services.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to our showrooms or corporate events.
