50 Patterns | 50 Years

If you live in a part of the world that experiences the changing seasons we’d be willing to bet you have a few fall traditions. Autumn is the kick off of a season full of tradition – college football, apple/pumpkin everything, and the tradition of soaking in every last ounce of summer before the cold weather arrives and brings all the tradition of the holiday season.

Traditional style incorporates design elements from a variety of centuries creating a feeling of comfort and familiarity and connection to an older world. Our great traditional patterns can be easily adapted to fit your project. Looking for holistically traditional, like our Lavello pattern but a different colorway? We can custom match to your exact color scheme. Love the damask inspired design of our Toulon pattern but want to try it in a lattice? We’ve got you covered! Our in house design team can masterfully design or re-design any pattern.

To get your traditional design inspiration flowing, we’ve selected three favorite patterns from our archives for our 50 Patterns | 50 Years collection. Allow us to introduce you to Lavello, Toulon, and Vernon.

“Ornate and elegant. Traditional patterns are here to stay — enhancing an already classic space or bringing a juxtaposed twist to a modern space. Purposeful and intricate themes display complexity and captivation.”

Ornate and elegant. Traditional patterns are here to stay.

Toulon is a hand-tufted Hokanson pattern with a 100% cut pile construction leaving a lush feel under foot. The classical pattern carries just the right amount of the maximalism trend that’s inspiring us as of late but the two tone colorway lends timelessness.

Meet Lavello. This hand-knotted beauty is a masterpiece as is, but try a saturated monochomatic color scheme (mustard or blue perhaps?) for a more transitional vibe.

Last but not least, Vernon is a traditional damask style. We could see this pattern on a Colonial staircase or making a statement in a foyer or lobby. Try adding a border for a little more traditional flair.
