We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our showroom sales team and drive sales growth in multiple markets. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Central US Sales Manager – A&D is responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals throughout our Dallas, Houston, and Chicago showrooms that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for Scott Group Studio commensurate with a luxury products brand.  The incumbent will develop and manage a team of sales representatives specific to the residential, commercial, and corporate market.

The ideal candidate will be based in our Dallas, Texas showroom and have a proven track record of achieving personal sales goals while effectively managing and mentoring a team to exceed collective sales targets.

Duties

  • Lead and Develop Sales Team: Build, develop, and manage showroom sales team representatives to execute sales initiatives and surpass sales goals. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure team success.
  • Personal Sales Goal Management: Develop and manage personal sales goals within the Dallas market. Demonstrate exceptional sales skills and lead by example in achieving individual targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop annual sales plans aligned with organizational strategy and objectives. Direct the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices to drive revenue growth.
  • Coordination and Communication: Ensure effective coordination of communications to support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in collaboration with marketing leadership.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Recommend and implement sales strategies for improvement based on comprehensive market research and competitor analyses. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance sales performance.
  • Channel Selling Management: Manage multiple channel selling strategies to maximize revenue streams and reach diverse customer segments.

 

Abilities + Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or sales and ten years of professional sales experience, including five years in a leadership position managing multiple salespeople
  • Knowledge of luxury interiors required; experience in interior design products highly preferred
  • Ability to assess and develop sales talent, develop trust, and motivate others toward goals
  • Collaborative management style/respectful of existing company culture
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer and internal relationships
  • Strategic thinking, collaborative problem solving, and communication proficiency
  • Embraces and applies sales performance metrics
  • Ability to travel within Texas and to Chicago
