Our top-selling rugs this year centered around warm neutrals in a rich range of values—from soft, light tones to deeper, moodier shades. The bestselling mix spanned hand-tufted, hand-knotted, robotically tufted, and machine-made designs, featuring everything from organic, free-flowing motifs to structured geometrics and richly textural compositions. Together, they reflect the palettes and patterns our clients returned to again and again.

Inside a Few of Our Favorite Projects
As part of our year-end wrap, we’re also reflecting on the process behind the work we created this year. We enjoy sharing our process as much as the finished rugs themselves. Each design comes together through thoughtful decisions around color, texture, and pattern, guided by skilled hands and careful attention to detail.
The Weight of Our Work
This year, we worked with 281,645 pounds of yarn—mostly wool—equal to the weight of a full-grown blue whale. It all starts with fiber, and this year we transformed a lot of it.
Covering Ground, One Rug at a Time
This year, we tufted 469,714 square feet of carpet—enough to cover the entire Madison Square Garden complex. It’s a number that reminds us just how much ground our craft can cover in a single year.
Crafting Beauty Far and Wide
From hand-tufted to hand-knotted, our rugs have traveled far and wide. In total, we’ve shipped to 23 countries, and in 2025 alone, one in eight countries can claim a Scott Group Studio rug in their space. It’s a reminder that every rug carries our craft far beyond the studio.
A Year in Design
This year, we’re proud to have brought 44 new A&D rug designs to life—hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and robotically tufted pieces crafted by our talented designers and craftspeople. Reflecting on the year, we’re energized by the variety and beauty of what we created.
